Chef Simon Young has left Rosewood London to launch a consultancy business, Simon Young Culinary Solutions.
Young joined the five-red-AA-star, 306-bedroom hotel in April 2018 having previously spent 16 years as executive chef at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower. He now plans to concentrate on working with a range of clients on all areas of culinary advice.
He has won a raft of awards, including being named Hotel Chef of the Year (over 250 covers) at the Hotel Cateys 2009 and Craft Guild of Chefs' Banqueting Chef of the Year 2007.
Young said: “Drawing on decades of industry experience, I will be supporting hospitality businesses with a wide range of services in all culinary areas, offering a unique and bespoke service.
“This has been a dream of mine for some time, and I am grateful to my many industry friends for their encouragement and support, enabling my dream to finally come to fruition.
“I would like to thank my colleagues at the Rosewood London for many happy years and wish everyone there continued success.”
