Restaurateur Sam Harrison will launch restaurant and bar Sam’s Waterside in Brentford, west London next month.
The contemporary brasserie, created with business partner Fanny Stocker, will open on 21 November and offer signature dishes from sister site Sam’s Riverside in Hammersmith as well as new seasonal dishes from head chef Jacob Keen Downs.
Harrison said: “Staying in west London for my businesses means that we have a great many loyal customers who love what we do – and appreciate having various options for dining out.
"Sam’s Waterside extends our reach a bit further west, into new neighbourhoods – and we’re proud that the initial reaction to coming to Brentford has been so incredibly positive.
"The Brentford Project is regenerating a whole section along the riverfront – with many new flat complexes, food and retail businesses joining the area in the coming months.”
Menu highlights will include crispy duck salad with watercress and persimmon; bass ceviche with avocado and chilli; chargrilled octopus with Dorset nduja and potato as well as a Cornish monkfish, gurnard and mussel stew.
Desserts will include a Basque-style cheesecake, Chiswick House apple pie with vanilla ice cream and pavlova with spiced pumpkin ice cream.
Sunday lunchtimes will see traditional roast dinners offered alongside the à la carte menu.
The bar will serve a range of cocktails, beer and wine, and a short menu comprising oysters, a pork and shrimp burger; and the Waterside smash cheeseburger.
Interiors have been designed by DesignLSM and feature blush pink and ivory leather dining seats and teal velvet banquettes, as well as bespoke art deco-inspired pendant lights.
