Salt Yard Group is to open its fifth restaurant at Westfield London in Shepherd’s Bush on Thursday (21 July), serving small plates celebrating the flavours and produce of Spain and Italy.
The opening will be the first from the group since it was acquired by Urban Pubs & Bars in 2018, with another site expected later this year.
Nick Pring, founder and director of Urban Pubs & Bars said: “We’re thrilled to be opening Salt Yard at Westfield London. The opening marks Salt Yard Group’s first restaurant in West London and the first Salt Yard opening since the group became part of the Urban Pubs & Bars family. We’re excited to welcome people in and bring some Spanish and Italian flair to the area."

Small plates will include braised lamb breast, rosemary scented cannellini beans and wild garlic; charred octopus with arroz negro and saffron alioli; confit cod loin with smoked anchovy romesco and wilted baby spinach and courgette flowers, monte enebro and blossom honey.
Desserts will include chocolate and olive oil mousse cake with macerated strawberries ad well as a mascarpone and ginger panna cotta with poached rhubarb & biscotti.
A cocktail menu will feature the Padron Margarita – a combination of Padron pepper infused tequila, agave, Cointreau and lime; as well as the Mambo Italiano – strawberry infused Campari with cava sparkling wine and soda water, as well as a menu of refreshing spritzes. An extensive wine list will focus on wines from regions across Italy and Spain
