Lake District’s Ryebeck hotel on the market for £3m

Offers of more than £3m are being sought for the Ryebeck hotel in Windermere, Cumbria.

 

The hotel, formerly known as Fayrer Garden hotel, has been owned by the Wildsmith family since 2004, and was run under management until it closed at the end of 2021.

 

The hotel sits in around five acres of landscaped grounds with 29 bedrooms, a restaurant, residents’ bar and conservatory area, parking for 50 cars and a detached former cottage which contains five of the bedrooms.

 

Julian Troup, head of UK Hotels Agency at Colliers said: “The Ryebeck is a high-profile and prestigious country house hotel located in a prime part of the Lake District National Park, offering unrivalled views over Lake Windermere. Its renowned status means we are confident of attracting strong interest from a diverse range of prospective buyers.

 

“We sold the also another country house hotel, Lindeth Fell, last month which was our 52nd hotel and hospitality sale Colliers has concluded since the beginning of 2021.”
