Rosewood Hotels has announced the launch of a new upscale business/lifestyle hotel concept called Khos.
The new brand is described as a business hotel "with the style and vibrancy of a lifestyle hotel", addressing the needs of the modern business traveller for whom travel is inseparable from their way of life, and situated between the ultra-luxury Rosewood Hotels and deluxe New World Hotels.
Traditional hotel facilities and services will be âre-imaginedâ to combine work and pleasure while on the road, while food and beverage will be inspired by Asian culinary traditions and communal dining. Meeting facilities and event spaces will be designed for flexibility to encourage personal interaction.
Khos will open in global gateway cities, business centres and resort destinations around the world, with the first due to open in 2018. Rosewood was not available to comment at the time of publication whether the brand would be targeting UK destinations.
As well as the five-red-AA-star, 306-bedroom Rosewood London (pictured), which launched in 2014 and was the winner of the Hotel of the Year â" Group award at the Cateys 2017, Rosewood has also been named as the operator of the 137-bedroom hotel to be developed at the American Embassy.
