Roomzzz aparthotel to open in Edinburgh St James development

Aparthotel brand Roomzzz is set to join the W Edinburgh hotel in TH Real Estate's £1b, 1.7 million sq ft St James development in the city.

The 73-bedroom Roomzzz will become the ninth for the the aparthotel brand in the UK. It will sit alongside W Edinburgh, which is due to open in 2021. Last month W announced that that it will open an additional 39 additional bedrooms on top of the 214 previously planned for the Scottish capital.

The hotels will join a line-up of 20 restaurants, 86 shops and an Everyman Cinema.

Chief executive of Roomzzz, Naveen Ahmed, added: "Our expansion into the Scottish capital is a significant milestone for Roomzzz as we look to grow our successful portfolio of luxurious aparthotels across the UK."
