The four-red-AA-star Rudding Park hotel in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, is to draw on spring waters for its new £9.5m roof-top spa, set to open on 2 May.
Created by architect Enjoy Design, the spa is the culmination of a 12-year planning programme overseen by the owners of the business, Simon and Judi Mackaness.
Natural spring waters from the 300-acre grounds, filtered through an ultraviolet system, will be used in the indoor pool.
There will also be a herbal steam room, a rasul for Moorish mud treatments, and a hydrotherapy infinity pool. Mind and sense zones will offer space for relaxation, before and after treatments.
Horticulturalist Matthew Wilson from BBC Radio 4's Gardener's Question Time has designed a spa garden featuring a sauna cabin, sun deck and spa bath. Meanwhile, head chef Murray Wilson has created a "kitchen garden" menu for the Horto Café, which will be relocated from the hotel to the spa.
Spa products to be featured will include Carita, Elemental Herbology. Ila and Jennifer Young.
Peter Banks, managing director of Rudding Park, said: "The philosophy of the owners is to continually invest in the business to ensure that the physical products offered to guests are of the highest quality, in keeping with our exceptional standards.
"We are immensely proud of what the revolutionary Rudding Park Spa will bring, not only to the hotel and our guests, but to both Harrogate and Yorkshire as leading UK tourism destinations."
The Rudding Park spa will open just prior to the £8m country club and spa which will be launched at Swinton Estate in June, 25 miles away.
