RA Venues has won a four-year contract to supply catering and hospitality services to the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds.
The caterer will have responsibility for its 12 spaces including the Master’s café, the War Gallery and the 4,000 capacity New Dock Hall which hosts a range of exhibitions and private dining functions. It will develop conference and events packages and part of its remit is to encourage dwell time and repeat visit from patrons.
RA Venues managing director, Steve Chandler, said: “We are very proud and honoured to be working in a long-term partnership with the Royal Armouries Museum. The venue boasts unrivalled large-scale facilities with independent access from the museum providing fantastic flexibility for our many clients.
"New refurbishments in both retail and catering outlets are presented in a complimentary theme, together with a fresh open aspect alongside Leeds dock that leads to extended dwell times from museum visitors and encourages repeat visits.”
RA Venues also has contracts with other cultural and heritage sites including Liberty London, Bristol Zoo and Bryn Williams at Somerset House. It is a subsidiary of contract caterer group Compass which formed the group in 2019.
