Healthy meat alternatives producer Quorn has registered its entire vegan range with the Vegan Trademark.
Some of the products in the range have been available in the UK since October 2016, but the company, which sponsors the Cateys Menu of the Year award, said the new registration gives extra credibility and assurance to consumers avoiding animal ingredients.
Vegan Society chief executive George Gill welcomed Quorn's decision to join more than 800 other companies already registered.
He said: "Providing vegan options makes clear commercial sense for businesses, which can open up their market to a fast-growing number of vegans worldwide."
Vegan food sales in the UK were up 1,500% last year.
