Bar and restaurant brand Purecraft has closed its Nottingham branch.
Purecraft was founded by restaurateur Andreas Antona formerly of Michelin-starred Simpsons in Birmingham and the Cross in Kenilworth and Paul Halsey of Purity Brewing.
The first site opened in Birmingham in 2014 and Nottingham followed in March 2016.
Purecraft Nottingham hosted guest chef events more recently one from the likes of Adam Bennett of the Cross at Kenilworth, invited customers to learn about craft beer and food pairing, and regularly requested their input when it came to putting new beers on the menu.
According to the company's Twitter page, the Nottingham site didn't have enough footfall to keep business afloat.
A spokesperson for the group said: "We took the difficult decision as we felt the bar was not gaining sufficient levels. We are really proud of our great beer, food and team but couldn't get enough folk loving us often enough. Our Birmingham bar continues to thrive and we plan to regroup and go from there."
Those with gift vouchers are being offered a refund if they email info@purecraftbars.com.
