Pizza Pilgrims has announced plans to open four new sites as it reported a 37% increase in revenue to £28.7m.
The group, which currently amounts to 20 sites, said that earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation before exceptional items was £2.4m for the year to 25 June 2023, up from £1.1m in 2022, while pre-tax profit was £700,000.
It said demand was particularly strong at its sites in in Carnaby Street, Victoria and Waterloo in London, as well as Cambridge and Leeds.
New sites will be opened in Euston and King’s Cross in June and November respectively, along with Cardiff in August and Edinburgh by December.
The group has diversified in recent years, launching a pizza at home kit with Ocado, which now accounts for 19% of income.
