Taking place at the Lowry hotel in Manchester on 17 October, the conference, sponsored by Harri, will explore how it’s possible to plug current recruitment gaps and ensure standards remain high.

Opening the full day summit Hawksmoor’s Ceri Gott and Jack Davy will share their experiences of opening up and recruiting for new restaurants.

Meanwhile, a panel including chef Mary Ellen McTague, Thom Hetherington, Ego Group’s Neil Morris and Luke Payne from the Pack Horse Hayfield are to discuss harnessing the power of your own people as ambassadors and the benefits of positive reviews.

The packed line up also includes 2022 Best Employer Catey winners Simon Mahon and Emma Belwood from the Grand York to share their award-winning people strategy and immigration lawyer Harry Goldstraw who will explain current opportunities for international recruitment.

The Caterer managing editor Lisa Jenkins said: “With staffing issues such high priority for hospitality operators this summit will provide a forum to share the latest thinking and success stories in recruitment, retention and engagement.

“We have gathered an expert line up to detail how it’s possible to position your business to be as attractive to new recruits as possible.”
