Paul Foster is to open a cookery school at his debut Michelin-starred restaurant Salt in Stratford-upon-Avon.
Foster, the winner of the 2019 Newcomer Award Catey, will open the school in the space above the restaurant's dining room.
Salt among those being taught.
He told The Caterer: "I'm really looking forward to opening our small intimate cookery school above the restaurant. This will help to take our business to the next level."
The chef also has plans to use the space as a private dining room for up to 10 people, with food prepared by a chef in front of diners. It will also play host to guest chef events.
Foster hopes to open the cookery school towards the end of October following renovation.
The second half of the year will also see the chef release season two of his podcast The Nightcap, which sees him and podcaster Simon Alexander invite esteemed chefs for a late-night lock-in after enjoying an eight-course tasting-menu at Salt.
Foster cut his teeth at Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons in Oxfordshire, Restaurant Sat Bains in Nottingham, Tuddenham Mill in Suffolk and Mallory Court, just outside Leamington Spa; before opening Salt in 2017, following a crowdfunding campaign that raised £100,000 in 30 days.
