Paul Ainsworth's Padstow Townhouse in Cornwall has been named Restaurant with Rooms of the Year at the AA Bed and Breakfast Awards 2017 this afternoon.
Padstow Townhouse is a collection of six individually styled suites where guests can choose between a Townhouse breakfast served in their suite or a table in Ainsworth's Rojano's in the Square. All guests also have the opportunity to dine at the four-AA-rosette Paul Ainsworth at No. 6 or the one-AA-rosette Rojano's in the Square.
All the winners were nominated by AA inspectors who inspect and rate more than 2,000 B&Bs throughout the UK. Winners received an award certificate and an engraved Villeroy & Boch decanter.
The 2017 winners are:

⢠AA Guest Accommodation of the Year for Northern Ireland â" The Old Schoolhouse Inn, Comber, Belfast
⢠AA Unique B&B of the Year â" Maidenâs Tower, Leeds Castle, Kent
⢠AA Restaurant with Rooms â" Padstow Townhouse, Cornwall
⢠AA Eviivo B&B Story Award â" The Grove, Cromer, Norfolk
