The White Horse in Dorking, Surrey, reopens this month after a £4m refurbishment. It closed in July 2017 after Bespoke Hotels acquired the property from American private equity company Lone Star. Improvements have been made across all bedrooms and public spaces, as well as to the restaurant and bar.
The interior design has been overseen by Squid Inc, with furnishings that pay tribute to the building's history.
The White Horse features extensive dining facilities alongside a delicatessen and refurbished bar serving local ales and regional wines. The Dozen restaurant serves a menu of traditional British and modern European cuisine, as well as a range of steaks from a Kopa charcoal oven. The Dozen Deli is set to open in February and will be stocked with Surrey produce.
The venue also has a ‘1812' meeting space, suitable for up to 30 delegates or 20 in boardroom style.
