Three former employees of Ollie Dabbous' London restaurant are to launch Wellbourne restaurant in the White City Place development in London.
This will be the third project for chefs Ross Gibbens and Michael Kennedy, who alongside restaurant manager Martin Irwin, launched their first Wellbourne restaurant in Clifton village in Bristol in September 2017 and a second in the Pyrenees town of Salardu, which opens during the ski season.
It will serve a morning brunch menu focused around breakfast classics and an all-day menu will be available from midday in both a restaurant and bar area.
Gibbens, said: "White City Place is the perfect fit for our relaxed but ambitious restaurant. Our flexible menu provides a unique style of daytime offering including a brunch menu full of homemade morning favourites, bar food and an all-day brasserie style menu. We are currently working on exciting new recipes, alongside some much-loved staples."
Shola-Karachi Kitchen will also open it's first permanent London site in White City. Founded by Aida Khan, a former banker, Shola-Karachi Kitchen serves Pakistani cuisine with a twist.
She said: "Shola pays homage to the real cuisine of Pakistan, often based on recipes and techniques passed down over generations. We are passionate about using fresh, seasonal ingredients to produce a contemporary and approachable experience of the traditional flavours of Karachi."
The two restaurants have signed deals with developers Stanhope and landowners AIMCo and Mitsui Fudosan open in White City Place's WestWorks building.
