Chef-restaurateur Nico Simeone is set to launch his Six by Nico dining concept in Manchester next month, his first restaurant in England.
Following restaurants in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Belfast, the restaurant will be the first in England with plans to expand the brand further across the UK in the pipeline.
The 66-cover restaurant will occupy the former Roc & Rye site and replicate the regularly changing dining concept of his other Six by Nico restaurants, where a new six-course tasting menu will be launched every six weeks themed around a place, memory or idea.
Simeone said: "We are very excited to bring an unforgettable culinary experience to Manchester. It was the obvious choice when looking for our first site in England thanks to its thriving food and drink scene.
"We have been overwhelmed by the success and the appeal of our first ‘Six by Nico' sites in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Belfast, and we couldn't be more delighted about bringing a completely new offering and dining experience to the people of Manchester."
Severino has been appointed to develop the new restaurant and work is currently underway at 60 Spring Gardens.
The concept was first launched in Glasgow in 2017.
