New York City-based LDV Hospitality is to open its first London restaurant, Sette, in the Bvlgari hotel in London's Knightsbridge.
Operating independently Sette, part of the Scarpetta group, will serve Italian dishes using locally sourced ingredients with bread and pasta made daily. The restaurant will open in June.
John Meadow, founder of LDV Hospitality, said: "Our Scarpetta approach has always been comfortable yet aspirational, and modern yet grounded with a love for old world hospitality. Sette will follow this core ethos of our Scarpetta identity, capturing a quintessential New York balance of high energy and effortless elegance. We are delighted to bring our passion to guests in London."
Main courses will include veal tenderloin with gnocchi alla romana and glazed sweetbreads and the group's signature spaghetti with tomato and basil.
The restaurant will have an underground bar called Nolita Social, serving cocktails to the sound of live music and DJs playing 60s rock, 70s soul, and 90s hip-hop.
