Iberian pork chicharrónes

 

 

Made for Drink has launched Iberian pork chicharrónes. The scratchings are created by cooking the rind twice, the second time at a higher temperature so that the pork skin inflates, giving it an airy, melting texture. The protein-rich snack is recommended to be paired with a light-bodied lager.

Loaded brownie traybakes

 

 

Just Desserts Yorkshire has unveiled a new range of loaded brownie traybakes. The loaded Oreo brownie is topped with cookies, buttercream and crushed Oreos, the loaded caramelised biscuit brownie has Lotus biscuit-flavoured buttercream and crushed Lotus biscuits; and the loaded Malteser brownie is crowned with Maltesers and white chocolate. Each traybake contains 12 portions.

Norte Eurocao chocolate drops

 

 

Ingredients specialist Henley Bridge has unveiled the Norte Eurocao range of chocolate drops, comprising: Wengue dark chocolate 70% couverture, Haya dark chocolate 60% couverture, Mara milk chocolate 34% couverture and Miravet white chocolate 30% couverture. All are Rainforest Alliance certified, and suitable for kosher and halal diets. Sunflower lecithin is used as an emulsifier, making the range suitable for those with a soya allergy.

New Forest Ice Cream raspberry sorbet

 

 

New Forest Ice Cream is relaunching its raspberry sorbet. Available in two litre tubs, operators can pair it with a panna cotta style dessert, as an amuse bouche or with spirits such as gin, as well as using it to create raspberry lemonade.

Valentine’s hand-crafted cakes and bakes

 

 

Worthing-based bakery firm Piglets Pantry has rolled out a range of hand-crafted cakes and bakes to the foodservice sector for Valentine’s Day. The series comprises gingerbread hearts, Valentine’s cupcakes, Valentine’s lips cupcakes, Valentine’s ‘mockarons’, Valentine’s choux buns and a white chocolate and raspberry heart mousse in two sizes.

Global Brands ready-to-drink cocktails

 

Global Brands has launched a range of 8.4% abv ready-to-drink cocktails named be. The passion fruit martini, pina colada and strawberry daiquiri flavours are nitro-infused and sold in 200ml cans, and the margarita and a sparkling paloma are sold in 250ml cans.

Cream tequila liqueurs

 

 

Independent drinks wholesaler LWC Drinks is introducing a new range of cream tequila liqueurs exclusively to the UK on-trade. The Sombrero Mexicano series will be available as part of the Signature Brands portfolio and consists of three flavours – strawberry, mango and passionfruit – all at 17% abv.

Aqua Libra 330ml cans

 

 

Aqua Libra has introduced still and sparkling water in 330ml cans. The beverages contain no sugar, sweeteners or calories and the cans are made from recyclable aluminium.

Ready to drink cocktails in paper bottles

 

 

Craft bottled cocktail specialist World of Zing has relaunched its ready to drink cocktail range in paper bottles. The recyclable ‘Frugal Bottles’ are lighter, safer and better for the environment than glass and are made up of 94% recycled paperboard with a food-grade pouch. The cocktails’ ABV ranges between 15%-18% and comes in 15 flavours, including kaffir lime ‘picante’ margarita, blood orange negroni, rhubarb cosmopolitan, spiced pineapple mai tai, espresso martini and passionfruit martini.

The Lemon Grove lemonades

 

 

The Cracker Drinks Co has introduced the Lemon Grove brand of lemonades, initially launching in three flavours: cloudy lemonade, cloudy lemonade with peach and basil, and cloudy lemonade with rhubarb. The lightly carbonated drinks contain naturally occurring sugars and less than 70 calories per 250ml serving.

Brigade chef clothing

 

 

Lockhart Catering Equipment has added a breathable, unisex chef’s jacket to its Brigade portfolio of chef clothing. The short-sleeved jacket is created using a durable, lightweight 80/20 polycotton twill, with a mesh vented back panel to provide ventilation throughout service. It can be washed at up to 70°C and tumble dried on low heat.

Hot holding trolleys

 

 

Moduline has launched the HHA series of hot holding trolleys for events and banqueting. Available through Jestic, the airflow+ ventilated trolleys are made from stainless steel and feature smooth-running castors.
