The four-AA-star, 50-bedroom Macdonald Forest Hills Hotel & Spa in Aberfoyle, Perthshire, has unveiled a £3.5m renovation to its bedrooms, cocktail bar, piano lounge, reception and restaurant.
The new look of the hotel, which enjoys views over Loch Ard, aims to enhance the property's "traditional Highland charm".
The bedrooms have been decorated in a warm red, mahogany and classic tartan colour palette, with the installation of custom built furniture.
Andrew Deighan, the hotel's general manager, said: "This is an exciting time and we look forward to welcoming our guests over the upcoming months to experience a true taste of highland luxury."
