Jens Hallman has been appointed the third general manager of Manchester's Midland hotel in the space of two years.
Michael Magrane departed the four-silver-AA-star, 312-bedroom in October 2016 after 11 years to become operations director of GLH and was replaced by Christopher Wayne-Wills in January 2017.
However, Wayne-Wills decided to return to Scotland to be closer to his family and was replaced by Simon Farr in September 2017, who appears to have left the hotel after only three months.
Hallman will lead the 500-strong team at the hotel, having most recently worked as cluster general manager for Radisson Blu Glasgow, Park Inn Glasgow and Radisson RED Glasgow at the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group.
He said: "It's an honour and a privilege to have the opportunity to manage this iconic hotel and work with the fantastic team we have here… My focus is to continue this evolution and ensure an outstanding experience is delivered to all of our guests and visitors."
The hotel is part of the QHotels portfolio and operated by hotel management company RBH. Real estate investment company Aprirose acquired the 26-strong QHotels portfolio from Bain Capital Credit and Canyon Partners for £525m in September 2017.
