Meat Liquor is to open a restaurant in Clapham Old Town in London on 6 October.
The group, which is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year, has taken the former Yard bar site for its tenth London opening.
The venue will feature two split-level bars, a 170-cover dining area, outdoor garden, five large screens for live sport and ‘poke for Jägermeister’ table buttons. Live music events and DJ nights will run at the weekend.
All the classic Meat Liquor burgers will be on the menu, include the Dead Hippie with spicy green chilli butter; and a plant-based Tempeh Tantrum with mushroom and beetroot patty.
Meat Liquor was founded by Scott Collins and started as a pop-up above a pub in London’s New Cross in 2011. This led to the opening of the first West End restaurant later that year and the group now runs nine London sites and one each in Leeds, Brighton and Croydon.
The brand’s first pub, the Dartmouth Arms, opened in Forest Hill in July.
