Chef Matt Gillan has announced the launch of new casual dining brand "Electro Pirate" set to be showcased at the Foresters Arms in Horsham.
Gillan, of Redroaster and Pike & Pine in Brighton, will take over the West Sussex pub's food offering from June.
Writing on social media the chef said: "From June I will be running the food offer at the Foresters Arms in Horsham, under my new casual brand Electro Pirate.
"The menu will be up shortly but will be pretty relaxed. I'm excited to be doing something back in Horsham and seeing where this goes."
An Instagram account has been launched for Electro Pirate promising: "No fuss, casual dining coming soon to West Sussex."
Gillan, who appeared in series eight and 10 of the BBC's Great British Menu, had previously held a Michelin star at the Pass restaurant in the South Lodge hotel in Lower Beeding, near Horsham.
His CV also includes stints at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, London; the Vineyard at Stockcross, Berkshire; and Midsummer House in Cambridge.
