MasterChef: The Professionals finalist, Philli Armitage-Mattin, is to open a two-month pop-up at Number One Park Lane restaurant at InterContinental London Park Lane between 2 August and 25 September.
Her takeover of the space will follow that of the 2020 winner of MasterChef: The Professionals, Alex Webb, who held his pop up between 3 May and 28 July.
Armitage-Mattin’s residence, the second of the series at the InterContinental hotel, coincides with the publication of her debut cookbook, Taste Kitchen: Asia.
Her dishes will include PFC: Philli’s Fried Chicken (£10); sea bass kinilaw with prawn oil and pork crackling (£12); gochu-miso black cod with kimchi and chilli butter sauce (£28) and Portobello okonomiyaki with girolles (£18).
The dessert selection offers watermelon and wasabi granita (£6) and miso sticky toffee pudding (£10).
Armitage-Mattin, who discovered food science through the same professor who collaborated with Heston Blumenthal, trained under the Gordon Ramsay group before travelling to Asia to gain direct experience with the cuisine.
Speaking about her upcoming pop-up, Armitage-Mattin said: "Taste Kitchen will be the yummiest bookshop in London."
