Applications are now open to take part in the upcoming series of the BBC’s MasterChef: The Professionals.
The television cooking competition, last year judged by Marcus Wareing, Monica Galetti and Greg Wallace, is set to return for its 17th series.
The MasterChef casting team have put out a call for chefs looking to put their skills to the test on a national stage.
Applications are open to professional chefs who will be aged 20-years-old or over as of 25 April 2024 with a legal right to live and work in the UK.
They must have worked for at least two years in a professional kitchen or have an NVQ Level 3 706/1 and 706/2 or equivalent.
Chefs must be available for filming, primarily in London, for up to 25 days between April and July 2024.
Previous participants in the series have included Gary Maclean, William Chilila, Adam Handling, Elly Wentworth, and Nikita Pathakji.
Tom Hamblet, the 24-year-old sous chef at the Camellia restaurant at the South Lodge hotel in Sussex, was crowned winner of the 2023 series.
Applications will close on 18 March 2024.
