The Master Innholders has rebranded its annual conference for 2020 as the Hotel Leadership Conference.
Formerly known as the General Managers’ Conference, the event is extending its target audience beyond general managers to personnel from all hotel departments.
The next two-day event in January 2020 will be themed Challenge Your Perspective and the content of the programme will tackle the opportunities, threats and innovations that will shape the hospitality industry over the next 20 years.
Among the keynotes scheduled to speak at the conference are: author and television presenter Nigel Risner; professor of global economy Joe Nellis; entrepreneur Shed Simove; brand strategist Mark Radda; Happen UK managing director Suzanne Robinson; strategic advisor Simon Stenning; leadership expert Keith Coats; and sustainable champion Onno Poortier.
Conference chair Dan Rose-Bristow, managing director of the Torridon in the Scottish Highlands, and chairperson of Pride of Britain, said: “We’re taking a fresh approach with the Hotel Leadership Conference 2020. Not only do we have an exciting new brand, but we are broadening the content to appeal to a much wider range of senior hoteliers.
“The programme is not about reinventing overnight, it’s about how people can think different to evolve and become a better hotelier. Whether you’re a personnel and development manager or managing director, head housekeeper or head chef, you’ll leave with new ideas and forward-thinking, implementable actions to take back to your business.”
The Hotel Leadership Conference 2020 will take place on 13 and 14 January 2020 at Hilton London Bankside. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit: masterinnholders.co.uk/conferences-events/27th-hotel-leadership-conference/.
