M restaurants and Gaucho boss Martin Williams has announced that Jamie Mitchell of Innocent Drinks and Gary Mann of Honest Burgers have joined the board of parent company Rare Restaurants.
Chief executive Williams said the pair's "sector expertise and vast brand experience will undoubtedly help guide the company through its next ambitious chapter."
Williams was placed at the helm of Gaucho following its acquisition out of administration by Investec Bank and SC Lowy in October 2018.
In April this year it was announced that Lomo Bidco, the holding company of the 16-strong Gaucho restaurant group, acquired Williams' three-site strong M restaurants, bringing the two together under renamed parent company Rare Restaurants.
In an interview with The Caterer published in April, Williams said he had plans to expand both brands, suggesting another two Gauchos and a "couple more" M restaurants could be seen over a three-year period, with the restaurateur eyeing locations such as Liverpool for a possible future Gaucho opening.
A new 9,000 sq ft flagship M restaurant in Canary Wharf is scheduled to open in the Newfoundland tower in 2020.
