Mandarin Oriental London is to host a reception on board the Serpentine Solar Boat, Hyde Park, as it continues in its bid to donate 40,000 hours to good causes.
The event takes place on 20 September and will raise funds for Hospitality Action.
As well as being a celebration of the charity's support of the hospitality industry, it will mark the charitable work the hotel's employees are undertaking as repairs are completed after a fire forced the closure of the hotel earlier this year.
Hospitality Action chief executive Mark Lewis said in a blog: "From a terribly difficult situation, [general manager] Amanda Hyndman and her management team have found a way to galvanise their workforce, give them valuable life experiences, and help further the work of many good causes.
He added: "It has been our good fortune at HA to benefit from the altruism shown by the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, and for this we're hugely grateful.
"The hotel's support of HA continues next Thursday, 20 September, when Amanda and her team host a reception on the Serpentine Solar Boat, Hyde Park, in aid of us."
Tickets for the event cost £95 per person. Email mlewis@hospitalityaction.org.uk for more details.
