Man dies after falling from Thistle Express window

A man died after falling from the window of the 152-bedroom Thistle Express hotel in Luton on Saturday.

A spokesperson for Bedfordshire Police said: "We were called to reports that a man had fallen from the window of the Thistle Express hotel at the Mall, Library Walk in Luton just after 5.30pm on Saturday.

"Sadly the man died at the scene and was identified as Jonathan Page, who had been reported missing earlier that day. The death is not being treated as suspicious."

A spokesperson for the hotel said: "We can confirm an incident occurred on Saturday evening at the hotel. The emergency services were called to the scene and it is currently undergoing police investigation."
