Luke Harding appointed general manager of Electrolux UK & Ireland

Electrolux has announced the promotion of Luke Harding to the role of general manager for UK and Ireland.

Harding moves into the role with a thorough understanding of the Electrolux UK & Ireland business, having joined the company in 2016 and previously held positions such as head of kitchen retail and contracts and most recently head of electrical retail.

Harding commented: “I’m delighted to be taking on responsibility for Electrolux UK & Ireland during such an important time for our company.”

Harding succeeds Peter Spencer, who has been promoted into a vice-president role within the European business.

Spencer added: “Luke’s stellar contribution to the commercial team within the Electrolux UK and Ireland business made him the perfect candidate to take on the general manager role. He will play a pivotal part in building AEG and Zanussi’s strong growth record, increasing our market share and contributing to Electrolux’s upwards trajectory.”
