L'oscar Hotel London has joined luxury sales and marketing consortium Preferred Hotels & Resorts.
The 39-bedroom Holborn hotel opened last year within a Grade II-listed former Baptist church following a £40m development, with Michael Voigt as general manager and Tony Fleming as executive chef. It is expected to be the first of a number of L'oscar-branded hotels.
Owned by Triangle Hotels & Resorts and named after 19th-century writer Oscar Wilde, the luxurious, theatrical interiors were created by French designer Jacques Garcia, known for his work in Paris at the Royal Monceau Raffles Paris, the Hôtel Odéon Saint Germain and Hôtel Costes.
Preferred Hotels & Resorts represents more than 750 distinctive hotels, resorts, residences and hotel groups across 85 countries.
