Wild Honey St James
Chef Anthony Demetre has opened Wild Honey St James on the former Balcon site at the Sofitel London St James hotel, serving modern European cooking combining classic French techniques with British seasonal produce.
The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily and has a comprehensive wine list of about 100 bins, covering both New and Old World selections.
The adjacent St James Bar has also undergone a transformation and now has a marble bar top, dark blue velvet banquettes and offers classic and signature cocktails.
The full redesign of the space has been undertaken by Jim Hamilton Design.

A pair of first-time restaurateurs have opened Tuscan restaurant Maremma in London's Brixton on the former Montego Inn site. The menu focuses on Maremma's coastal region in southern Tuscany, famed for its salami, seafood, olive groves and vineyards.

Murder Inc
The Cocktail Trading Company has opened Murder Inc cocktail bar in London's Fitzrovia, inspired by industrial New York and mid-century glamour. Cocktails include the ‘Adonis', with Lillet Blanc, hibiscus vermouth, wild strawberry and bitters, and the ‘cannonball Collins', with Flor de Cana 7, Hennessy VS, triple sec and clarified sweet pineapple soda.

Spelzini
Spelzini has opened in London's Shoreditch, serving sandwiches, pizzas and cicchetti-style sharing plates, alongside wine and vermouth cocktails. The site has been named after founder Jim Fisher's great-grandfather Luigi Spelzini, who moved to London in the 1890s from Italy. The drinks list has been curated
