Village Hotel Club Bristol
Village Hotel Club Bristol has opened following a significant £22.5m investment. The hotel in Filton, north of Bristol's city centre in South Gloucestershire, is home to a gym, the Village Pub and Grill, a Starbucks coffee shop and the Village Hotels Business Club VWorks meeting and events space.
The hotel is equipped with smart technology, while each Club bedroom is fitted with an Amazon Alexa and includes free access to the Village Gym and VWorks.
The Village Gym features Technogym equipment and more than 100 classes a week, as well as a 20-metre swimming pool, luxury steam room and sauna.

Macdonald Randolph
The Macdonald Randolph hotel has transformed its grand ballroom after a £100,000 investment. The remodel, which took three months to complete, includes customised carpets and wallpaper. The event suite, which can accommodate up to 400 people, is lit by three chandeliers that are exact replicas of those on the Titanic.

Japanese ramen bar Tonkotsu has opened at Dickens Yard in London's Ealing, the brand's eleventh restaurant across both London and Birmingham. The brand's USP is its 'signature stock', made from scratch every morning, and its noodles are made using mid-century machines imported from Japan.
