Latest openings: the Langley hotel, Gezellig, Atrium at the Lords of the Manor hotel and more

The Langley

A Grade II*-listed mansion in Iver, Buckinghamshire, that was at one time the hunting lodge of the Duke of Marlborough, has been launched as the Langley hotel following a six-year, multimillion-pound renovation.

The property operates under Marriott's Luxury Collection brand and also includes a Grade II-listed, 18th-century building that was used as stables and a brew house.

As well as a restaurant and bar, the hotel features a spa with eight treatment rooms and a women's-only thermal area, and a fitness centre with a cryotherapy centre, headed by personal trainer Matt Roberts. The gardens were originally landscaped by Capability Brown and include a Lebanon cedar tree that is listed by English Heritage.

The Langley is the Luxury Collection's fifth hotel in the UK, alongside the Wellesley Knightsbridge, Westbury and Park Tower hotels in London, and Trump Turnberry in Ayrshire. Worldwide, the brand has more than 100 hotels.
