Latest openings: Laura Ashley Hotel the Iliffe, Hard Rock Café, Heritage and more

A look at the latest restaurants, hotels, pubs and bars to open their doors

Laura Ashley Hotel the Iliffe

The Chace hotel in Coventry is rebranding as Laura Ashley Hotel the Iliffe, having been home to a Laura Ashley tea room since October 2018. The property is now undergoing refurbishment to bring it in line with Laura Ashley brand standards, with new interiors that will showcase the Laura Ashley Home range.

The property has been renamed after Dr Charles Webb Iliffe, for whom the property was built in the late 1890s. Its 17 superior and deluxe bedrooms now have Laura Ashley Glenmore chairs in marine velvet and Laura Ashley Constellation and Constance mirrors.

Laura Ashley Hotel the Iliffe will be the second Laura Ashley-branded hotel, joining the Belsfield hotel in Windermere, Cumbria, and the Burnham Beeches hotel near Slough in Buckinghamshire, due to relaunch later this year.
