Kym's
Michelin-starred chef Andrew Wong has opened his latest restaurant, Kym's in Bloomberg Arcade in the City of London. Focusing on the ancient craft of Chinese roasting, the menu at Kym's pays homage not only to the many gastronomic regions of China, but also to the creativity and craftsmanship of London's Chinatown.
The restaurant, named after Wong's parents' restaurant in Victoria, has been described as a "modern, premium, casual Chinese with a relaxed and comfortable interior".
The restaurant will feature a private dining area and a circular entrance bar offering a selection of cocktails influenced by China's diverse food traditions. It will also offer a smaller grab-and-go menu during lunch service. The restaurant has a fake cherry blossom tree, linking the bar and restaurant with the upper mezzanine level.
The restaurant has been supported by the White Rabbit Fund, a hospitality development platform founded by Chris Miller, former commercial director of Soho House & Co.
