Suffolk drinks brand L.A Brewery has partnered with chicken restaurant chain, Nando’s, to launch Citrus Hops into all venues across the UK and Ireland.
The non-alcoholic drink, which has notes of lime, tropical fruits and flowers, is to be offered in 330ml bottles across the famous chicken chain’s 472 outlets in the UK and Ireland.
The launch comes at a time when the market for alcohol-free beer, wine and spirits is growing; according to research conducted by University of Cambridge this spring, low and no alcohol beer will increase by nearly 13% per year over the next three years and is the most rapid growing drinks product in the UK.
L.A. Brewery Founder Louise Avery said: “We are really excited to see our Citrus Hops in Nando’s. It’s hoppy and refreshing and it complements their vibrant menu nicely. We like it as an alternative to beer, while some see it as a more interesting and healthier soft drink. The choice is yours.”
L.A Brewery was set up by Avery in 2017 and brews drinks using a natural fermentation process with a blend of tea, plants, and flowers. The vegan products are then bottled using 100% recyclable materials in the Suffolk countryside. L.A Brewery achieved B Corp certification in July 2022.
In addition to Nando’s, L.A Brewery can also be found across a range of operators including itsu, Hawskmoor, Dishoom, and Coppa Club.
