The modern Indian restaurant group will also launch Kricket Canary Wharf on 2 September.
Modern Indian restaurant group Kricket is set to launch its fifth London site in Shoreditch in late 2024.
The announcement comes ahead of the opening of Kricket Canary Wharf, which is due to launch next month following a fresh round of funding from White Rabbit Projects (WRP).
Kricket Shoreditch will be a 120-cover all-day restaurant and bar offering dishes such as Keralan fried chicken with pickled mooli and curry leaf mayo; Mangalorean smoked pork belly with burnt apple chutney; and chai financier with macerated cherries and elderflower.
It will also serve new menu items based on the team’s recent research trip to India.
The site will feature Kricket’s first and only private dining room, available for up to 18 guests.
Rik Campbell and Will Bowlby started Kricket as a pop-up in a shipping container development in Brixton in 2015 before launching their first permanent site in Soho in 2016.
Campbell said: “Kricket Shoreditch represents another step in the evolution of our brand. From menus to design, each location must offer something unique beyond just being a place to eat.
“In many respects it’s surreal how far we are from our humble beginnings in a shipping container in Pop Brixton. For us, it’s important to keep moving and stay current. We are keen to expand organically both at home and abroad.”
