He was most recently hotel director of Seabourn Cruise line and worked at the Maybourne Hotel Group for 13 years.
The Doyle Collection has appointed Klaus Kabelitz as general manager of the Kensington hotel in London.
He was most recently hotel director of Seabourn Cruise line, where he was responsible for 226 suites aboard the luxury ship for two years.
Kabelitz has also held roles including general manager of the Biltmore Mayfair, general manager of the Belmond Cadogan hotel and general manager of the Swiss Le Richmond Genève.
He also spent 13 years at Maybourne Hotel Group, working as house manager at Claridge’s London, as well as general manager of the Berkeley London.
Kabelitz said: “Having worked in London for many years, I am very familiar with this wonderful property and am honoured to be joining the Doyle Collection.”
The Doyle Collection, previously known as the Jury’s Hotel Group, is an Irish, family-owned hotel group with properties across Dublin, Cork, Bristol (Ireland), London and Washington D.C.
Its London hotels include the Kensington, the Bloomsbury and the Marylebone.
