Chef Johnny Stanford is set to oversee the launch of No. 1 Broad Street, a "relaxed fine-dining restaurant" opening in Cuckfield, West Sussex this spring.
Stanford left his most recent role as head chef at Jodie Kidd's Half Moon gastropub in Kidford, also in West Sussex, last week after nearly a year.
Posting on Twitter he said: "It's been a wild ride around the world and back, literally. I'd like to thank @RealJodieKidd and wish her and the rest of team here all the best in the future."
Stanford was also formerly head chef of Pascere in Brighton and was a senior sous chef at the three-AA-rosette Pass restaurant at the South Lodge hotel in Horsham, Sussex.
