Food writer and restaurant critic Jay Rayner is set to be the keynote speaker at The University Caterers Organisation's (TUCO) annual conference this summer.
The three-day event will run 20-22 July at Imperial College London where delegates will have the opportunity to learn new trends, network with peers and attend seminars and cookery demonstrations.
This year's conference will see the introduction of ‘live lounges' in which TUCO suppliers will deliver a trends-led training programme.
Business and culture change consultant Liam O'Connell, who believes that motivated and engaged employees are the secret to delivering unforgettable customer service, increasing productivity and creating a successful and vibrant business culture, is also on the agenda.
Helen Anzani, head of TUCO learning and development group, commented: "We have listened to feedback from previous years, making this year's event our most engaging yet, giving our members workshops they can tailor to their area of expertise. This year's exhibition will be enhanced with live lounges and workshops with each day focussing on either food or drink.
"Alongside the great line up of keynote speakers, TUCO will be presenting key findings from industry leading research undertaken this year. Coupled with the enthusiasm of the team at Imperial College London this is shaping up to be an exciting development opportunity."
