Jason Atherton's Social Sunday will return on 1 July and see some of the country's best chefs unite to raise funds for Hospitality Action.
Now entering its fourth year, Social Sunday has already raised more than £100,000 to support the charity, which provides assistance to those who work or have worked in hospitality and find themselves in crisis.
Hospitality Action's principal patron Atherton and the chefs across his six Social Company restaurants will be joined by peers to create bespoke lunch menus, with all proceeds going to the charity. At flagship restaurant Pollen Street Social, Mayfair, Atherton and head chef Dale Bainbridge will be joined by Tom Aikens of Tom's Kitchen and chef-patron of Restaurant Story, Tom Sellers.
At French-style bistro Little Social in Mayfair, executive chef Cary Docherty will create a menu with Clare Smyth MBE of Core while Paul Hood, chef-patron of Social Eating House, Soho, will be joined by Paul Ainsworth of No.6 in Padstow. Meanwhile, City Social's Paul Walsh will be joined by Anglerâs executive chef, Gary Foulkes.
Executive chef of Marylebone's Social Wine & Tapas, Marcus Rohlen, will team up with Martin Morales, author and founder of Ceviche to offer a four-course menu featuring Peruvian and Spanish-inspired plates.
In Farringdon, Sosharuâs chef patron Alex Craciun will cook with six chefs including Edoardo Pellicano of Maos, Hannah Catley of Chiltern Firehouse, Patrick Powell of Manhattan Loft Gardens, Oli Marlow of Roganic, Chase Lovecky of Two Lights and Kazutoshi Endo of Endo.
Each lunch will be a ticketed event, priced between £90 and £180 per head. To book visit: www.jasonatherton.co.uk/socialsunday/
This year will also see the Social Sunday concept taken nationwide as chefs and restaurateurs across the country organise their own events.
