Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver is branching out into the events catering market with the launch of a new company called Fabulous Feasts.
Oliver has joined forces with events caterer Chilli Pepper, which will rebrand as Fabulous Feasts this month, with the group's managing director Glen Chadwick heading up the new business.
Chadwick and his team are currently developing special concession menus for festivals and other large public events, while bespoke menus will be created for more intimate events such as private functions and corporate events.
Chadwick said Fabulous Feasts was all about taking catering to a new level. "We all share a passion for food and believe in the great experience we can offer guests at any event," he said.
Oliver added: "We'll have flexible menus to cover all occasions and the people serving the food will be friendly, efficient and really know their stuff. We'll also be really competitive on price while always delivering genuine quality."
Jamie Oliver currently runs nine Jamie's Italian restaurants in the South of England and Cardiff, with a further six sites to open in the coming months.
He is also launching a new restaurant in the City of London this autumn in a joint venture with US chef and barbeque enthusiast Adam Perry.
