The Ivy Collection is set to open an Ivy Café in London Blackheath in late January 2018.
As with its sister restaurants, the restaurant's menus will offer breakfast, elevenses, weekend brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, light snacks, cocktails and dinner.
A mix of modern British classics such as shepherd's pie and grilled lobster will be served, alongside European-inspired dishes such as chicken Milanese with black truffle mayonnaise, and line-caught swordfish with red pepper sauce and cherry tomato.
As well as the main restaurant space, the Ivy Café will feature a 20-cover, Parisian-style terrace. Martin Brudnizki Design Studio is consulting on the restaurant's interiors to create a stylish yet laid-back environment for all-day dining.
The Ivy Collection is a group of 13 restaurants, brasseries and cafés, originating with the Ivy on West Street in London 100 years ago, which is operated separately. Ivy Cafés are distinguished from Brasseries and Gardens as both more "local" and smaller.
The collection offers accessible, all-day dining in a relaxed, local setting, and as well as sites in London, Bristol and Surrey, is set to open in Glasgow, Bath, York, Guildford, Cheltenham and Harrogate later this year, with a total of 30 sites anticipated to be open by the end of 2018.
