Interstate rebrands Ramada Bournemouth as a Holiday Inn

Interstate Hotels & Resorts has rebranded the Ramada Encore in Bournemouth as a Holiday Inn following a major refurbishment.

The third-party management company, which took over the operation of the 113-bedroom property in early 2018, has transitioned the hotel over to the Holiday Inn brand with owner, London-based Jayhems.

The refurbishment included new beds, TVs and charging points for all 113 bedrooms, upgrading the executive rooms, a new meeting room with state of the art technology, superfast WiFi and the introduction of an open lobby. There are also plans to open a Starbucks at the property next month and a mini gym in September.

Hemang G Popat, managing director for Jayhems, said: "We are thrilled to be offering a fresh and vibrant place to stay, eat and relax after this extensive refurbishment… These improvements position us ideally to meet the needs of our guests, businesses and the local community, and ensure continued growth for the hotel."
