Jeremy Chan, executive chef at two-Michelin-starred Ikoyi in London has partnered with Uber Eats to offer a £60 tasting menu.
The five-course menu has been inspired by Chan’s “love of takeaways” and pays homage to Ikoyi’s signature flavours.
The menu is priced at £60, with the option to add a drinks pairing for an additional £25, and will be available to customers in central London on the 10 and 11 May.
Dishes include mutton merguez and green goddess slaw; fried chicken, smoked scotch bonnet and raspberry; and jollof rice and crab custard.
Ikoyi is the latest two-Michelin-starred restaurant to join Uber Eats Hosts’ series after the delivery app partnered with Gareth Ward’s Ynyshir in November last year.
Chan said: “I often enjoy delivery food at home myself when I’m not working. When Uber Eats approached us, we were delighted to partner with them and share some of the tastes and flavours of Ikoyi for people to enjoy at home for the first time.”
Matthew Price, general manager UK, Ireland and Northern Europe at Uber Eats, added: “We created our Uber Eats Hosts series to bring some of the nation’s best, and often hard-to-access, restaurants to our customers. After the success of Ynyshir, we are so excited to bring Ikoyi on board in the next stage of our series. This menu is truly incredible and this will be the only chance to taste it!”
Ikoyi was opened by co-founders Chan and Iré Hassan-Odukale in London’s Temple in 2017.
