Private members' club Home House has appointed chef and food writer Sophie Michell as its executive chef.
Overseeing a team of 33, Michell will take responsibility for the club's entire food offering, including the Restaurant, the Garden Restaurant, private dining spaces and pan-Asian restaurant the Octagon Dining Room, as well as the club's drawing rooms, lounges, bars and room service.
She said: "I am so excited to be taking on my new role at Home House. To have such an amazing platform for my food and to be working in such a historic and successful venue, is an absolute dream. I look forward to developing the food offering here and taking it to the next level."
Michell trained at Butler's Wharf Chef School while working at the two-Michelin-starred Greenhouse as well as at the Lanesborough in Knightsbridge and members' club the Embassy. In 2013 she became the UK's youngest female executive chef at the Belgrave's hotel restaurant and she also launched Heathrow Terminal 2's Gorgeous Kitchen alongside an all-female team.
Andrew Richardson, managing director of Home House, said: "We are absolutely delighted to have Sophie on board. Her impressive experience offers a new level of dining for members and a new chapter for the House."
