The Holiday Inn Manchester – Central Park has been brought to market, with the leasehold (147 years unexpired) available at a guide price of £4.25m and offers invited for the combined freehold and leasehold interests with a guide price of £7.5m.
The purpose-built hotel comprises 83 bedrooms, a restaurant and bar area, six meeting/conference rooms and approved planning permission for an additional 28 bedrooms. The hotel also has parking spaces for 71 vehicles.
Ryan Lynn, partner in Knight Frank’s hotel agency team, which has been appointed to market the property, said: “We’re thrilled to be appointed on the sale of the Holiday Inn Manchester. This sale provides a unique opportunity for an investor to acquire the closest branded hotel to Manchester’s sports hotspot, and to take advantage of the approved planning permission for an additional three-storey extension.
“As the third most popular UK destination after London and Edinburgh by number of overnight stays, Manchester’s hotel market is set to return to pre-pandemic trading levels as demand continues to rise throughout the year.”
