The opening of Plaza Premium Group's first UK Aerotel at London Heathrow Airport Terminal 3 has been delayed.
The 82-bedroom hotel was due to open in April, however is yet to open or confirm an opening date, while guests who were booked into the hotel have been offered alternatives.
A statement released on behalf of the group said: "The opening of Aerotel by Plaza Premium Group has been delayed while we make further improvements to ensure we provide the best possible customer experience. We are working on confirming an opening date as soon as possible.
"Any customers who have already booked to stay at the hotel via Booking.com or Expedia.com have been informed and will be offered alternative accommodation. Customers who have booked via MyAerotel.com will be offered the choice of a full refund or a stay at the Crowne Plaza Heathrow, subject to availability."
The Hong Kong-based group already operates the "premium but affordable" brand at airports in Singapore, Abu Dhabi, Rio de Janeiro, Kuala Lumpur and Muscat, offering flexible six-hour booking slots aimed at travellers arriving late, departing early or with a long layover.
