Harts Group to launch crowdfunding campaign for biggest Barrafina yet

The Hart brothers have announced plans to launch a crowdfunding drive on 14 June to finance their biggest Barrafina yet.

Harts Group, behind Barrafina and Quo Vadis, plan to open the restaurant concept's fourth site in Coal Drops Yard, King's Cross, in October this year.

The new restaurant will have 34 seats at the bar, a 20-cover private dining room and an outdoor terrace.

The group hopes to raise £750,000 on crowdfunding website CrowdCube to finance the project in exchange for a stake in the business, with minimum investments of £10.

Earlier this month the Hart brothers' restaurant group reported a return to profit in the 12 months to 31 July 2017, after being hit by "one-off exceptional expenses" the previous year.
